Introducing our handwoven Pamba shopping basket made from a highly durable and versatile sisal plant. The perfect market bag, shopper basket for the beach, farmers market and outings. Sisal may feel rough at first but will soften with use. Products made of sisal are not afraid of a little water, but do not soak them. You can clean them with a damp cloth or rinse with water, but do not scrub the surface, machine wash, spin dry or tumble dry. Allow to dry in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight.
The handles and straps of our products are made from locally sourced leather. The leather is vegetable tanned, a process that uses organic materials and natural tannins derived from the bark, leaves and branches of trees and plants.
