These products are handwoven from a highly durable and versatile sisal plant. Sisal may feel rough at first but will soften with use. Products made of sisal are not afraid of a little water, but do not soak them. You can clean them with a damp cloth or rinse with water, but do not scrub the surface, machine wash, spin dry or tumble dry. Allow to dry in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight.
The handles and straps of our products are made from locally sourced leather. The leather is vegetable tanned, a process that uses organic materials and natural tannins derived from the bark, leaves and branches of trees and plants.
