Kang Table

To understand the novelty of the vintage Kang Table, one must also be familiar with the historic Kang Bed in China. The Kang Bed was on a platform that was heated below via charcoal or a heat tunnel of bricks from the kitchen cooking stove. The Kang Table was designed for eating, drinking, and otherwise holding accouterments while atop this warm source of comfort. Our natural-hued pine Kang Tables are sourced from the Dongbei region. Style, condition, and shape may vary. 

“Vintage" indicates an offering of authentic one-of-a-kind, repurposed products. Because we actively collect these older wares, they are available in quantity. Vintage pieces will always vary in different areas such as size, tone, color, patina and design, depending on the item.
